ZAMBIA
Victim Support Unit (VSU) Zambia Police National Number Tel +260-211-253161
The VSU is a specialized unit within the Zambian police that was established in 1994. Victim Support Units (VSU) deal specifically with cases of rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence and have been established at most police stations. Police officers are also being retrained to consider domestic violence as a serious crime and victims can report domestic violence or get assistance from any police station. The emergency number to phone is 911 and one can ask to be directed to the nearest VSU.
National Legal Aid Clinic For Women (NLACW)
The NLACW largely deals with legal representation of women in the judicial system. Their cases range from domestic violence to property rights. They also are actively involved in advocacy and education around women's rights.

Young Womens Christian Association (YWCA)
