The resources needed to implement and roll out the GOLD Model are many and varied. GOLD is grateful for one-off donations of cash or gifts-in-kind, but also seeks to partner with sponsorship organisations that can support specific needs in an ongoing capacity. The current needs of GOLD are:

GOLD Peer Education Development Agency:

Office furniture - 10 Boardroom table chairs, 5 office 'typists' chairs and 2 desks.
A cell phone partner to sponsor handsets and airtime to enable enhanced communication between the field and our project teams


GOLD Implementing Organisations:

The GOLD implementing organisations, working in under-served communities, have many needs. Foremost amongst our implementers' needs are:

Computer equipment and peripherals - PCs, laptops, business software, printers, printer-scanner-fax combo, print cartridges, laptop bags, paper and other stationary

Internet connectivity - access to the internet and the resources it offers is vital to the organisational health of our partners. A service provider that could offer reduced ADSL rates to the GOLD implementers in South Africa would greatly enhance the services that they offer their communities.

Television and DVD players - are needed at all GOLD implementers. These are used for training and programme enhancement activities.
