Wishlist
The resources needed to implement and roll out the GOLD programme are many and varied. GOLD is grateful for one-off donations of cash or kind, but also seeks to partner with sponsorship organizations that can support specific needs in an ongoing capacity. The type of resources we'd be happy to receive include:

GOLD Peer Education Development Agency needs:

Vehicles – We need 3 vehicles for the RSA and Botswana offices. We are happy to partner with a vehicle sponsor with an aligned brand/values statement and display the relevant branding on the vehicles.

Office appliances. Fridges - A large fridge for Head Office in WC and a small fridge for the KZN office. Microwave – KZN office. Water cooler, fans, gas heaters.

Office furniture – all offices need office furniture like training equipment, boardroom tables, chairs and desks.

Computer equipment and peripherals – Laptops, printer-scanner-fax combo, print cartridges, laptop bags, paper etc

Digital Projectors – Three are needed – one for each of the regional offices. A fourth will be needed in 2009 for Mpumalanga.

Digital Cameras and DVD recorders for each of the regional offices (WC, KZN and Botswana)

Clothing e.g. t-shirts, caps etc displaying the sponsor’s logo and the GOLD logo. Clothing is needed for the GOLD training teams, to identify them as a unit during training.

A cell phone partner to sponsor handsets and airtime.

GOLD Implementing Organisation needs:
The GOLD implementing organisations, working in under-served communities, have many resource needs. Sponsorships or donations through GOLD to implementing organisations need to be made across all 17 organizations, or could be confined to specific areas. Foremost amongst our implementers’ needs are:

Computer equipment and peripherals – PCs, laptops, business software, printers, printer-scanner-fax combo, print cartridges, laptop bags, paper etc

Vehicles– 15 needed in RSA and 2 in Botswana. We are happy to partner with a vehicle sponsor with an aligned brand/values statement and display the relevant branding on the vehicles.

Clothing e.g. t-shirts, caps etc displaying the sponsor’s logo and the GOLD logo. GOLD would like to be able to distribute clothing as prizes for remarkable achievement and for morale building to implementing organization facilitators (208) and peer educators (6710).

Sports equipment especially soccer and rugby balls.
